We understand that no two clients are exactly alike, and we take pride in offering individualized advice to each client to fit each unique situation.

Our Story

Makino Financial was founded in 1989 in Columbia, Maryland by Frances Lev Makino.

​

After several years at a national brokerage firm, Frances founded her own company to offer independent, personalized financial advice.  30 years later, she was joined by her daughter Gloria Makino and her son Bernie Makino.  Working as a team, we help clients of all ages and life stages reach their financial goals.
